Community Manifesto

We are mothers, even if God has never placed a baby in our arms.

We are the Church, even when we are kept from leading. Our lives are the liturgy, our kitchen counters the altar.

We are peacemakers in the chaos and patient gardeners when the soil seems barren.

We are the lamp lighters, searching for meaning in the darkness and joy in the ordinary.

We are the welcome mats, inviting others to step in and remove their shoes, for we walk on holy ground.

We are home.
