Hi there!

Welcome to a slower, kinder, softer way of living. I’m so glad you’re here.

Your First Step to Becoming a Work-at-Home Mom

"Sometimes your only mode of transportation is a leap of faith." 💕

A gorgeous print with this quote sits above my desk - or at least it used to. Baby Alice took over my office, so the print has now been banished to a sad pile of papers in the corner of our bedroom - but you get the picture. I love having this visual reminder around because it’s just so true. Any time you’re starting something new, it’s a leap of faith.

So often we want to start with the logic part. We start googling how to work from home and sign up for every free webinar about strategies and making 5-figure months right out of the gate. It’s almost like we lose the joy and excitement of embarking on a new journey before we’ve even laced up our shoes and headed out the door.

Not to mention the fact that all that “research” in the beginning is setting us up for a major comparison hangover. It's way too easy to get overwhelmed and distracted when you start looking at what everyone else has already accomplished.

So when friends and clients ask me how to get started, they don’t always love my answer, but I swear by it. The very first step in your work-at-home journey? Believing that it's possible! Saying it out loud. Imagining what it will be like. Tapping into why you want this in the first place. 🏡

Way before I knew if my dream was possible, I knew what I wanted. Slow mornings. Spending the day in workout clothes. Sitting on the floor with my coffee while playing with the baby. ☕️

Have you let yourself dream lately? What if you set aside the strategy for just a moment and focused on the excitement of what’s to come. Like a child waking up on the last day of school before summer break, we can embrace the joy of what’s coming, even if we can’t quite picture it yet.
