Hustle with Heart

I have mixed feelings about "the hustle." Yes, it's important to take action on your goals every day, but when taking that action starts becoming your identity, it's gone too far. I've gotten this message loud and clear lately, as I've had to majorly slow down with this pregnancy.

Morning sickness took me down, and suddenly I wasn't that mom who everyone asked how she did it all. Because during my first trimester, "doing it all" looked like nibbling Goldfish on the couch all. day. long.

Now that I'm feeling better, it feels great to be back to work. I love what I do, so it's a joy to sit down at the desk every day. BUT I'm keeping close tabs on myself and holding myself accountable to no longer attach my worthiness as a person to how much I can accomplish in a day.

Today I had the chance to share my hustle thoughts and my story here on MotherHustle. Check out their site and start connecting on social. We hustlin' mamas need each other!

“My greatest lesson has been to stop attaching my worthiness to my business.”
